Laundry
If you require use of laundry facilities there is a laundry facility located in the basement of P Staircase with washing and ironing facilities. (Please note washing powder is not provided).
The laundry is available for use between 15.00 and 21.00. Please contact the Porters’ Lodge regarding access as access is with a keycard.
Buttery/Bar
The Buttery is our coffee shop / bar and we offer a warm welcome to all our guests. The Buttery is a traditional yet informal setup, guaranteed to let you relax and unwind, within the picturesque first court which houses The Great Gates, Porters’ Lodge, Chapel, Masters Lodge & Formal Dining Hall.
Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday 10.00am to 23.00hrs and Sundays 10.00am to 22.00hrs.
We serve a wide selection of sandwiches, paninis, salads, crisps, healthy snack bars, costa products and a variety of soft drinks, draft beers, bottle beers and spirits.
We also offer milkshakes, smoothies and a brand new cocktail menu. Please ask behind the bar for details.
Breakfast
If you wish to add a breakfast onto your package, please book on at the Porter’s Lodge. Breakfast is available from the Upper Hall which is accessible the second court.
Monday to Friday 07.30 to 9.30 Weekends 8.00 to 10.00.
We serve a choice or full English Breakfast, Continental Breakfast, Pastries & Fruits, Coffee & Tea. If you have any dietary requirements / allergies kindly let our staff know at the time of reservation.
Gardens
Our beautiful gardens include botanically important trees, shrubs and borders as well as sculptures and artwork. They are open Mon- Fri 9am-4pm.
