The time has finally come! We are delighted to be able offer Bed & Breakfast stays once again here at Christ’s College, Cambridge. From the 26th July our Great Gate will be open, and our Porters’ ready to welcome you back to Christ’s with a smile.

Situated in the heart of this historic city, Christ’s College is the perfect location for your summer staycation. Our accommodation is in walking distance of Cambridge’s top centre attractions such as King’s College, the historic market, the Grand Arcade shopping centre and of course punting on the River Cam.
Our ensuite bedrooms will give you all the comfort you need after spending a day exploring our wonderful city, complete with shower rooms, tea & coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi.
Enjoy a locally sourced Breakfast in one of the College’s dining Halls; a fantastic opportunity to stay & eat in a unique venue steeped in history.
What are we doing to keep you safe?
We have successfully achieved the Visit England ‘We’re Good to go’ Covid 19 Industry Standard. As well as the ‘Safe Travels stamp’ from the World Travel and Tourism Council.
These certifications are available to any business that operates in England and shows we have read and implemented the Government’s COVID-19 reopening guidance, understand the guidance from Public Health England and have a COVID-19 Risk Assessment in place.
There are sanitiser stations located around the College, including the Porters’ Lodge for you to use on your entry and exit to the College.
Our Porters’ will be happy to greet you, all be it from behind the protective screens, which we have kept in place to keep everyone safe. Your key cards are sanitised before you receive them and we ask that you scan the NHS Track & Trace App on your arrival.
Our Housekeepers follow a 10 point plan to ensure your room is clean and sanitised before your arrival. Measures include ensuring bedrooms are ventilated whilst being cleaned, allowing as much fresh air as possible to circulate. The wearing appropriate PPE, and enhanced cleaning of all key touch points such as door handles and light switches.
