Open Cambridge 6th-15th September

Open Cambridge will take place from 6th-15th September 2024. The full programme will launch, and bookings will open on Monday 12 August. Keep checking the website for details of what will be a celebration of celebration of art, culture, and community.

Cambridge Vegan Market 14th September

The Cambridge Vegan Market, held on September 14th, is a vibrant and bustling event celebrating the best of plant-based living. Located at Parker’s Piece in the heart of Cambridge, the market features an array of more than 50 local and regional vegan vendors, presenting a wide variety of delectable food, beverages, and lifestyle items.

Whether it’s artisanal vegan cheeses, artisan chocolates, fresh produce, or innovative wellness goods, there’s something to suit every palate and passion.

Ancient Oak Fayre – 31st – 1st September

The Ancient Oak Fayre takes place on 31st August – 1st September. Be amazed by equestrian stunts, medieval performances, battle re-enactments, jousting, falconry, Watermill Wolves, and living history displays from Viking, Anglo-Saxon, and Medieval times. Test your skills in archery and axe-throwing, while younger visitors can explore the magical Fairy Glade with children’s workshops. Enjoy browsing the craft market, listening to live music, and sampling various food and drinks, including authentic ales and ciders at the Medieval Inn.

Duxford Air Show  14-15th September

Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show (14th- 15th September) takes place at the former RAF site that played a leading role in some of the most dramatic days in 20th-century history, serving as a base for many of the Spitfire and Hurricane pilots during the Second World War.
This iconic air show celebrates the rich history of flight and features a thrilling display of vintage and modern aircraft, including historic military jets, warbirds, and aerobatic performers.
Visitors can expect to see a diverse range of aircraft in action (see website for full details) With its stunning setting amidst the historic airfield’s hangars and runways, the Duxford Air Show is a must-visit event for anyone passionate about aviation and military history.

Dahlia Festival Anglesey Abbey

Traditionally the Dahlia Festival takes place around early September and is a delight for fans of this beautiful flower. Dates and times tbc. Keep an eye of the Anglesey Abbey website
