When we arrived, this originally late medieval college was hiding its charms behind a large amount of modern day scaffolding and plastic sheeting. Averting our eyes as we passed through this, the gardens and beautiful college buildings of the first three courts were impressive, passing the delightful statue to probably the college’s most prestigious student, though we could only nod at where we were told he roomed. We had expected to be accommodated in the modern fourth court right at the back, but appreciated its warmth and en-suite with everything we needed. It would have helped to have WiFi details in the the room which would have avoided having all my data gobbled up. The porters were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the stay.
