It’s the ideal spot for exploring the city and the main sights.
So lovely to be right in the centre of Cambridge & in such an historical setting. The rooms are quite basic but with very comfortable beds & good linens, and are very good value. The bedders and Porters are very friendly & helpful. The rooms overlooking the road behind the college can be a bit noisy late at night, but those facing into the college are quiet all the time.
Central location, quiet inner courtyards to reflect on centuries of learning and rooms that offer space and generous working and storage space. Most important, all front-line staff very helpful. It’s not their fault the wifi connectivity for guests was at best patchy – not all guests will need it but in 2026 in the centre of Cambridge, for some it will be essential and assumedly available. It was an unwelcome surprise when it simply wasn’t working.
