Had a great night in the college. Porters very kind, comfortable well appointed room and great location in the centre of this lovely city.
Overall, a good stay! That said, a couple of things weren’t ideal. There was scaffolding right outside my bedroom window with workers around, which was a bit disappointing. In the evenings, I felt a little uneasy since my room was the farthest from the gate and not many people were around. A few times, the main door to the block wasn’t locked, so technically, anyone could have walked in. The room also got quite hot, and I couldn’t sleep with the window open as it opened onto a flat roof with scaffolding, making it easy to climb up.
On the bright side, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was great, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
Student accommodation, so just what I was looking for to spend the night! Good facilities and a lovely, spacious, clean room. Felt like a hotel and good value for money. Some rooms have fans and some do not however, so worth bearing in mind if you get warm easily.
