In the centre of Cambridge, but within its own historical grounds, the rooms were fine being clean, spacious for student accommodation and quiet. Porters very helpful at check in.

I was in England for a trip to Duxford Air Show with friends from Ireland and the US and I booked us rooms at Christ’s College. There were five of us and we were all seriously impressed with the accommodation. The porters in the Lodge were really friendly and helpful; we got a great welcome when we arrived and they helped me print out a car pass for the air show. The rooms were great, with good facilities, and breakfast was excellent. The College was in a really convenient location for us as well. There was parking nearby but it was pricey for overnight.

Absolutely magical stay – the room was comfy, breakfast really delicious and the overall vibe made the stay really fantastic. The only downside for me is that rooms could use a bit of renovation – purely so they feel cleaner, as right now the amount of slightly damaged/porous/carpeted surfaces was a bit suspicious for me as theyre harder to deep clean. Then again I would stay again without hestitation and will recommend it to anyone going to Cambridge

Good value stay, clean rooms in which everything worked fine, and friendly staff. Breakfast was good and well set up. The room I had in New Court at Christ’s College was warm and stuffy though.

Christ’s College is a beautiful retreat in central Cambridge. We were looking for somewhere to stay at a reasonable price after a late film at the Everyman Cinema in the Grand Arcade. This was perfect. With beautiful grounds to explore and a great breakfast the next morning, it was a really nice experience. The room was simple but perfectly adequate. I was surprised to find that a kettle and tea/coffee were provided in the en suite room. The staff were lovely and everything was clean and in good working order.

The College is a beautiful and tranquil place to stay. The age and history of the buildings add to the atmosphere and it makes for a unique experience. It is so much better than staying in a generic hotel. Location is great, handy for city centre but also easily walkable to the bus and train stations. The room was comfortable, clean and had a good shower. There were tea and coffee facilities which were appreciated and I could charge my electrical devices. Plenty of storage options for clothes etc.
