Had a great night in the college. Porters very kind, comfortable well appointed room and great location in the centre of this lovely city.
Student accommodation, so just what I was looking for to spend the night! Good facilities and a lovely, spacious, clean room. Felt like a hotel and good value for money. Some rooms have fans and some do not however, so worth bearing in mind if you get warm easily.
My stay was overall good, the room was clean and tidy, but the room was quite hot and if was not possible to sleep with the window open since it was on a walking path so anyone could have walked in. The door to the building was always open so also anyone could have walked in.
The breakfast was good and the people from Christ’s college were helpful and kind, as a woman travelling alone I never felt bad.
Huge room, clean, bed too small for two people, very beautiful garden, very nice and helpful people, in the center of the city and silent, bad internetconnection, we wish to return. Thanks for all!
If you are in the area visiting and want to sightseeing this affordable accommodation is perfect for necessity. Close to a range of shops and the staff were all helpful.
Only downside was that Internet wasn’t the best but still usable the bathroom wasn’t very spacious.
The college is beautiful – what a place to be housed as an undergrad! Second Court room was clean, somewhat sparse/basic, and truly oversized loo/shower room, perfectly adequate for a short stay, and comfortable bed. Glad we had a garden view. There was noise from the adjoining street – but only really audible in the bathroom. Staff were most kind and accommodating, and the Buttery Bar pleasant and welcoming. Central location ideal for our explorations on foot. Enjoyed our visit and would stay again.
Lovely place to stay.
Nice and clean.
Extra room that even came with a piano!
So nice to get to stay here, beautiful gardens/views.
Comfortable bed.
All staff polite and helpful.
The guy at breakfast so helpful and friendly too.
(I stayed 1 night 23/8/25)
Large room, very clean, spacious bathroom with shower over a bath. Very noisy until late the next morning but we had been warned in the description before booking and it was a Saturday night in August Bank Holiday weekend
Ground floor disabled room, noisy by the outside door but absolutely fine, lovely friendly staff at porters lodge, but appalling wi-fi, if any signal at all, and bathroom very very basic no shelf, no toilet seat nowhere to put anything, tiny hand basin, poorly flushing toilet and difficult to get ready for a wedding with any comfort.
A bijou room, with everything one needed. Very clean, with a huge openable window, quiet with a view of the rooftops. The bathroom was tiny, but it all worked, and was an experience. An excellent stay in the centre of Cambridge for a very reasonable price.
One thing, though, the WiFi sign in is convoluted and slightly ridiculous in this day and age!
