Comfortable room, stunning setting, gorgeous gardens.

I stayed for four nights in an ensuite room in a modern block within Christ’s College. The room had a double bed and was very, very spacious. There was daily housekeeping. The college is right in the centre of Cambridge which was extremely convenient. It was an absolute treat walking through each of the college’s beautiful, historic courtyards every day to reach the block I was staying in. I 100% would stay again. Lovely experience.

So lovely to be right in the centre of Cambridge & in such an historical setting. The rooms are quite basic but with very comfortable beds & good linens, and are very good value. The bedders and Porters are very friendly & helpful. The rooms overlooking the road behind the college can be a bit noisy late at night, but those facing into the college are quiet all the time.

Central location, quiet inner courtyards to reflect on centuries of learning and rooms that offer space and generous working and storage space. Most important, all front-line staff very helpful. It’s not their fault the wifi connectivity for guests was at best patchy – not all guests will need it but in 2026 in the centre of Cambridge, for some it will be essential and assumedly available. It was an unwelcome surprise when it simply wasn’t working.

Great chance to get a glimpse of university living and to walk around the beautiful university grounds at different times of day. Important: not a hotel. The room and bathroom are college dorm standard. Amazing location.

My wife and I had a modern en suite room adjacent to Christ’s Lasdun Building.

It was comfortable, spacious and well-equipped.

The porters’ team especially were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The room is small but comfortable and functional, and the environment is lush, full of history and beautiful buildings. Ring right in the centre of Cambridge is just perfect as well. The porters are all very helpful.
