The experience of staying at Christ’s was excellent. All staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The room was light. clean and supplied with good quality, freshly laundered linen. It was a pleasure to walk through the college grounds to our room. Breakfasts were of a high standard, and offered a good variety of choices. We would have had dinner at the college but wasn’t aware that we had to book in advance.

A brilliant and unique place to stay in Cambridge; an oasis in the heart of the city. Beautiful grounds and surroundings and very friendly staff. If room facing south/south-west, it can get quite hot on a sunny day and the windows of the Lasdun building open in a funky way. Also, the en-suite is a tad small and with a step access but overall, it was super clean and comfy and extra special with the ancient college vibe. Highly recommended.

The room was basic, but did have an en suite bathroom.

It lacked a proper bedside or desk lamp. There were lighting fixtures, but that’s less convenient.

The bathroom cabinet had not been adequately cleaned out.

The porters and staff were kind and polite.

It was wonderful to have access to the college courts and the tranquility therein.

Clean and comfortable room in a great location and at a very reasonable rate. As requested, the room faced into the college’s grounds and this made for a calm, peaceful stay. Highly recommended.

staff was friendly, the location was really good, the room was alright as well, except for the cleanliness. the bathroom had visible traces of the prior guest/student (hair, stains)….

We had a great time. The room was comfortable and spacious, although the bed was smaller than we’re used to. But it’s not about the room – it’s about the setting and the beautiful buildings and grounds. All of the delights of the city are close and easily accessible, and the college and its grounds are stunning. It was lovely to feel like a part of this wonderful place. Thanks to all the porters for making us feel welcome.

This is a great place to stay in Cambridge, perfect location in the centre with beautiful gardens. The rooms are clean and roomy if a little tired but worth it for the price and location. Porters were friendly, the breakfast was good and the tea and coffee making facilities in the room are appreciated.

From arrival the team were so welcoming at the porters lodge and around the grounds.

The room was large and comfortable and had all we needed – the location was great right in the middle of all the areas we wanted to visit.

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and when requested we got some bananas.

Nice but basic stay on a perfect location in the middle of the centre of Cambridge .around the hotel room you can walk through the college in nice historical environment . Breakfast is super
